Partners in Crime
ho ho ho! I've been having so much fun playing around with my new toys!! :)
Here comes a very bright and colourfull layout from me!
I found this old picture of me and my friend Chris, aka Buffy and Mago as our crimefighting aliases!
Well I dont think we ever did much crimefighting.. but whenever we got ourselves in trouble it was always easy to blame Buffy and Mago.. cause we are such good girls otherwise!!
The picture is from one of my parties in my old student flat.. It might even be the last one?
And our dresses match! I remeber it as it was an accident! We look so colourfull and happy!
I used the graphic 45 line On the boardwalk, tatterd angels glimmer mist a tim holtz mask, crackle paint and grungeboard, some new prima flowers, flowers from wildorchidcrafts, some lace and other bits and pieces from my stash.

Ok, can I pleeeeeeeeaseeee have some summer now?

Even if Im not a big fan of the white stuff, Argos is!
He's like a dolphin jumping in the deep snow, putting his head down and showeling it around!
Hes joy makes it barable!
This is sketch #92 from Creative scrappers:
My take:
The title says Snowed-in? And can also mean that someone is a bit behind.. :P
Here Argos is playing with a tennisball in the snow.. totaly cowered in it!
Lily Bee papers, Prima vine and bling.
details:
What a Guy
"Han går som en karl
Han ser ut som en karl.... "
Roughly translated : "He walks like a guy, he looks like a guy.."
Karl in swedish means guy/man etc.. and my brothers name is Carl.. so its a pun.. I just couldnt help it :)
I've been playing with some new graphic 45 papers, A perfect gentleman in this one!
Love them! ♥

Soon we're going to be totaly snowed in!! Everytime I take the dog out for a walk I have to force my way through newly fallen snow.. and it keeps coming.. I want spring!!!
The reason..
you get to keep memories and family history and pass it on.
Mostly I dont take this hobby that serious, I just do it because its fun, I get to make something pretty and I find it peacegiving to work with my hands and to create.
But these photos I have wanted to preserve somehow.
They've been fading away in my parents albums for soon 30 years, so I took a digital photo of them, tried to edit them to look as good as possible, and then I just had to scrap them!
I dont remember the 2 eldest ladies in the photos, and this is the only photo I've found of them with me.
So I need to keep them!
Anyway, back to scrap-business! :)
Pink Paislee has a sketch competition going on, last date to enter is 15 march so still plenty of time!
The only rule is to be inspired by the sketch AND use your favourite PP products. Read more at their site!
Easy peasy! I LOVE sketches, and I LOVE PP! ANd my alltime favourite line is amber road.. its just sooo gorgeous and the pages scrap themselves!
Heres the sketch by Valerie Salmon:
I flipped it 'coz it worked better with my photos, here's my take:

There I am, my first christmas 1980!
Top photo: me, my dad, his mother and her mother.
Photo 2: me, my dad, his dad and his mother
Its just me, my dad and my grandmother still alive and I so wish I could have gotten to know the others better.
My grandfather died when I was 12, and I still miss him heartbreakingly much!
Details:
Prima vine cut in 2, Kaiser bling, thickers, and the papers are as said PP Amber Road ♥

Lake Stångtjärn
It looks hard to work with at first.. since Im not that big fan of bright colors..
But they just fit so well with eachother! Lovely!
First time in a loooong time I havn't done piles of flower.. Now they're more scattered, but I wanted the feel of something diagonal to the rest that is so square. Yada yada!!

Hope you all had a wounderful Valentines day! I did!!!
A lot of snuggeling and spending time in the sofa watching movies and eating chocolate!
Just the way its supposed to be!
brown + yellow ??
I admit I was a bit hesitant about the BG Orgigins line.. sure, they looked beautiful, but I dont hink I would have baught them if I hadn't seen them live..
Don't forget to ENJOY!
Photo by Yngve, Argos enjoying himself in the late fall sun!
details:
Just added some flowers (prima + wildorchidcraft) and bling, the rest is from the kit!
Enorm alla ♥-ansdag blogcandy!!
size - does matter
I love the simplicity and elegance she works with, it looks so easy, but is oh so hard!
I used a couple of pictures of Argos when on a walk in the woods. He likes to pick up sticks to carry around.. the bigger the better! Sometimes there not sticks, more like small trees!
My absolute favourite paperline I think! Pink Paislees Amber Road.. I only have small small scraps left!
*iiik* and I cant find them all in any swe webshop.. d'oh!
I really need more of that dark patterned one, and the scalloped, and the red...

Thanks again for the inspiration Stacey!
Daddy & the Doll
Toodles!!
Today I'm happy!
My darling D came home from his course, finally!! The trains were very very delayed yeasterday, so instead of showing up at midnight, he arrived around lunch today.. He got to sleep in a hotel at least, so it wasnt all togheter horrible!
Theres just so much snow here, I almost didnt make my walk to work this morning.. No plows out by that time so I have to force my way trough all the newly fallen snow! Thank heavens for great shoes!!
Well, anyway, I did another challenge over at Magdas, a scraplift from Pernilla Tj
My take:
LilyBee French Couture papers, Martha Steweart hydrangea punch, flowers from prima and IKEA, thickers, old buttons
The pic is on my dad and my fav doll when I was very very young! Just look at how young my dad looks! :) Cute, right? I used to call all my dolls Britta.. except the one with broken blinking eyes.. she was called Blind-Britta..
Kalle at the great wall of China
Lots of fun challenges! I so hope I have time for them all!
I did this after a sketch:
DCWV Far East papers, making memories canvas tag, suitcase from 7gypsies, birds from an overlay and prima flowers.
I did a bit stiching on my broken machine, its hard, but it works moderatly...
details:
Beautiful photos..
Thank you-know-who I have a great friend that takes even greater pictures..
Someday when I have my own high-tech camera he will have to teach me everything he knows!
This weeks sketch over at Creative Scrappers is made by Monika,
I emidiatly knew what to do!
I'd been saving these lovely papers from Maja design and now I had a way to incorperate them all without it beeing messy! All I needed was a prima flutter vine and some thickers!
Dont fill life with days - fill the days with life
The photo is Yngves aka groggo, and I can look at it forever!
